Update from Gnorman!
Arrive at Doggitt's safe and sound 7th March. Am left in the dam tin for several days while he gets his act together. He's either at work or on the internet. What the hell am I doing here?
9th of March, finally I am taken out of tin but I am left on the couch and the stupid bloody cat sleeps on me, grrrrr remind me not to stay here again!
12th March, we actually do something. A lovely day out on the Peninsula visiting the ancient mysterious Gnomish monument Brickhenge.

Brickhenge is just awesome and inspiring, how my fimo-clay ancestors managed to build such a structrure and why is well beyond me. We may never know. I told the local Gnomes about my mission around NZ to raise money for cancer research and they said "Why don't you sell Brickhenge then? None of us give a dam about it".... I may well do just that. I took some lovely photos and we had ice creams in Portobello. They tell me the South is cold but I don't know...
13th March, blimming hell it's freezing. Woke up to what looked like snow on the hills, IT'S THE MIDDLE OF MARCH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! Let me out of here!!
16th of March, haven't seen Doggitt for several days, he leaves early in the morning and comes home late at night, often smelling of alcohol, how he finds time to surf the net I will never know..
17th of March, thank the lord I am finally out of here, Doggitt has agreed to drive me to my next roundevouz in Invercargill. Hopefully they will be better company.
17th of March (again).. A fantastic drive down, all the way to Bluff for no good reason (other to look for oysters but no where seemed to sell them) and then the half hour drive back up to the Southern City of Invercargill. I am told I will meet the Mayor this coming tuesday!

Update from Gnorman in Parliament!
Hi Joy,
Just a quick update about Gnorman ... he is having a wonderful time in Parliament and is going to stay another week. He didn't think you would mind too much. He is staying on the 13th floor of Bowen House and has an amazing view of the waterfront.
From his window, he can see the Beehive and the Cake Tin. He can watch the inter island ferries crossing the strait and see the planes come and go from the airport.
There is always something exciting happening at Parliament. Gnorman just loves it when the bells start ringing 10 minutes before the Housesits. At first, he thought they were ringing especially for him and was a little bit disappointed when I told him it was to tell the MPs to stop what they are doing and make their way to the debating chamber.
Jill is going to introduce him to as many Government MPs and their staff as possible but its not something that can happen in just one day which is why he has extended his stay.
He really wants to meet the Prime Minister and that should happen next Tuesday.
I'll keep you up-to-date with his antics ....
